While learning about the art movement Cubism, students practice drawing and shading techniques through a still life drawing. The catch is that they have to perceive this still life through the eyes of Cubism artist Pablo Picasso. Although very difficult at first, the students said that it helped them develop a sensitivity to the way they view their surroundings. Trying to see objects from multiple perspectives, broken planes, fractured images are just some of the creative techniques accomplished by these artists. Check 'em out!
